The Deltec Energy Wall
uses advanced framing techniques to achieve outstanding energy efficiency. The 24"
stud spacing allows for maximum space for insulation, while at the same time optimizing
the amount of lumber required for each panel. The Energy Wall contains an insulated
header as well as 1" of exterior rigid foam (R-5) to minimize thermal bridging. After
these panels are insulated on site, they can achieve an R value from 20 to 25 depending
on the insulation type chosen.
