Deltec Homes "North Carolina Healthy Built" Model Home

Once you step into our custom built green model home, you'll immediately feel what it's like to live in the round. The openess, the gentle curves, the panoramic view, and the cascading natural light all make you feel warm and welcomed. 

This new 4500 square foot "North Carolina Healthy Built" home utilizes many of the latest green building practices, promoting a comprehensive approach to sustainability by integrating the key components of green building design and construction, including site selection and development, energy and water efficiency, materials selection, resource efficiency, indoor environmental quality, and homeowner education.
deltec homes model homeDeltec’s model home is projected to use up to 50% less energy than homes of similar size. In addition to the remarkable energy efficiency of the home, there are many systems in place to enhance and improve the indoor environmental quality. Fresh air is continually circulated throughout the home by a special ventilation system, and a sealed crawlspace lowers energy use and provides excellent moisture management.

Some of the other custom features include low VOC finishes and formaldehyde-free cabinets. The installed highly efficient heating and cooling systems maintain exceptional comfort with minimal energy use. The home also promotes exceptional durability through mold and termite resistant framing, fiber cement siding, and a structural shell that was built in our controlled environment plant to limit exposure to building materials during construction.

Deltec produces all of its homes with 100% renewable energy. The prefabricated, panelized structural shell is built with 78% less waste than a typical stick-built home through Deltec’s extensive recycling and reuse program.

The model is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.  Directions: FROM I-26 in North Carolina take Mars Hill exit 9. Take your 1st right onto Crossroads Parkway. Go approximately 8/10 mile and turn right onto Parkway View Rd. Go 2/10 mile and take the first right onto Manor Rd. The model will be on your left.
