Full BIO: Joseph Schlenk is a Dream Home Expert and Director of Sales and Marketing for Deltec Homes. The company builds energy efficient, durable and beautiful round homes using components produced at its manufacturing plant in Asheville, N.C. As a boy growing up in Asheville, Joseph became fascinated with Deltec's unique round designs when he saw construction workers build two of the homes in his neighborhood one summer. Later, while pursuing a successful sales career, Joseph lived in a Deltec home in the mid-1980s. In 1994 he joined Deltec's staff as a salesperson. He was promoted to Sales Manager in 1998 after a highly successful sales career. His sales style and focus on customer service became the standard for Deltec's selling philosophy from that point on. Since Joseph became Director of Sales and Marketing in 2003, Deltec has been featured many times in national media, including ABC, Fox, CNN, AP MSNBC, HGTV and the DIY network to name a few. Joseph has become recognized as an authority on the US homebuilding industry, especially in the area of disaster resistant construction.
